Roles and Responsibilities
- We are looking for a candidate with current knowledge of both local and regional market dynamics.
- Going out to the market and developing sales leads for our products.
- Schedule and follow through on leads
- Communicate with farmers on different farming solutions
- Prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed.
- Advise on appropriate purchase options where needed.
- Promote specific products as directed by upper management.
- Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value.
- Sales of company’s farming products to different target groups
- Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team.
- Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review.
- Meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Self-improve continuously by way of experience and manager feedback.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Agriculture and similar course
Experience Requirements
- Creativity
- Open minded and friendly
- Interpersonal skills
- Very good oral and written communication skills
- Fluent in english and swahili, knowledge of 3rd language is an added advantage
- Honesty
- Ability to build positive relationship with clients
- Ability to work in a mixed culture team
- Highly motivated to work in a very professional, creative manner.
