Procurement Officer

INTRODUCTION:

Mkulazi Holding Company Ltd (MHCL) is a joint venture company currently owned by National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Tanzania Prisons Service. The principle activity of the company is to undertake production and importation of sugar. Establishment of the Company is in line with the implementation of the second five year development plan (FYDP II) aiming to ensure that Tanzania becomes industrialized and middle income economy (Tanzania ya Viwanda) by the year 2025. MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LTD Vision is to become the largest integrated sugar company in East and Central Africa. Its Mission is to produce and supply quality sugar and related products consistently and efficiently in local and regional markets. The company wishes to invite competent, qualified and dedicated young Tanzanians to fill in the vacancy positions currently available in the company as follows:


PROCUREMENT OFFICER as the one to deal with Farm operations, Head Office and handle all issues identified in the structure.

Job Descriptions

  • Responsible for Farm operations procurement
  • Draft of tender letters related to invitation, Clarifications, Intention to award, Award, Negotiations, Unsuccessful etc
  • Develop Contract and Maintenance Registers
  • Responsible for Fuel and lubricants Mgt
  • Advisory services
  • Responsible for Factory and        Head Office procurement
  • Manages Goods and Non-Consultancy Services
  • Tendering Process Management
  • Responsible for TB Services management
  • Procurement Monitoring and Compliance
  • Responsible for procurement management information system, TANePs developed by PPRA
  • Procurement Records Management
  • Procurement Risk management demonstration that he or she has met all performance targets in his or her carrier.

Minimum Qualification:

Must be a holder of degree/Advaneed Diploma in Procurement, Material Management or any other related equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution. Must have served in a relevant field for atleast three (3) years. Must be a computer literate and must have a proven outstanding performance which must be supported by
