The company is dynamically growing and has expanded its operations regionally to Juba, Republic of South Sudan, where it is operating at Juba International Airport. AIRCO has the following vacancies for which suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply.

CARGO CLERK Post: 5
Duty Station: (Shall be positioned for stations inside Tanzania)

Requirement
The company requires a successful candidate to perform such duties below diligently to the satisfaction of our customers. You are therefore expected to:- Be able to understand the normal procedures in cargo related activities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i) Dispatch documents appropriately prepare for outgoing cargo to the aircraft ships paper bags.
ii) Check import or export documentation to determine cargo contents and classify goods
according to fee or tariff group.
iii) Keep records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
iv) Prepare appropriate documents for cargo to be shipped
v) Check cargo, mail bags or courier bags for any anomalies
vi) Check bonded cargo for transfer , delivery to customers
vii) Prepare documents as required by Cargo Controller
viii)Collect documents from incoming flights
ix) Segregate stored cargo as required in the warehouse
x) Notify Supervisor and Security on any cargo requiring special handling
xi) Fill in Register for Cargo outgoing /incoming note AWB /MAWB or HAWB numbers and bay number positioned or removed
xii) Ensure the warehouse, cold store and security cage are always tidy and clean
xiii)Ensure all environment is kept tidy and clean
xiv)Check AWB/HAWB against manifest and split to forward to respective sections
xv) Register in the system all cargo incoming /outgoing to inform respective sections.

MINIMUN ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:
i) Possession of Diploma in Business Administration, Inventory Management or equivalent
from Aviation College recognized by TCAA/ICAO.
ii) Knowledge and competence in information and communication technology (ICT) application.
iii) Working experience prior to a reputable Ground Handling Company of a minimum of 2 years will be an added advantage.
