The Abdulrahman Al-Sumait University (SUMAIT University) was built on the foundation of the former University College of Education Zanzibar established in 1998 by a charity organization; Kuwait based Direct Aid (AD). In line with this expansion,of SUMAIT University – Zanzibar. The University is also making restructuring of Programs and Faculties in Education and Administration positions to accommodate the business needs.
Therefore, SUMAIT University wishes to invites part timers applications from suitable Internal and External qualified Individuals to fill the academic teaching vacancy for diploma in secondary education examination (DSEE) programs as follows:-
Description
Sumait University currently accepting part-time qualified Teachers from experienced of teaching Certificates and Diploma courses commencing ASAP. Teachers should possess experience of teach the following subjects:-
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Geography
- History
- Arabic
- Kiswahili and
- Development Studies
Also, another part-time Teacher to teach the following subjects:-
- Foundation of Education
- Curriculum and Teaching
- Education Measurement and Evaluation
- Education Guidance and Counseling
- Education Media and Technology.
ALL applicants need to satisfy the following criteria:-
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree or Master Degree of Education and other related equivalent
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- At least 3 years teaching experience with atleast 3.8 GPAs in undergraduates studies (preferred).

As a result, successful applicants will need to be highly motivated to meet the demands of lesson planning and delivery in accordance with assigned curriculum content and assessment objectives.
